The Sound of Music program remembered valued and much-respected HTG member, David Furey who passed away after a battle with illness. David played many iconic roles in our productions over the years and will be sadly missed.
The cast were treated to a visit by star of the 1965 film version (and local resident) Nicholas Hammond. Nicholas portrayed "Friedrich" in the film version.
The Director was fortunate enough to be able to directly converse with the playwright, Jaki McCarrick, who provided invaluable assistance in producing "Belfast Girls".
